BACK TO THE RACE: KEYS TO GROW MEMBERSHIP
9:40-10:20 | room Wiltz-Vianden
Kiwanis enables us to make new friendships, new relationships and to help Children of the World – that’s a great story. But the story can be even more beautiful if we share it with more people – outside of our existing circle of acquaintances. Opening up clubs to younger members, bringing in new potential members… Get some methods and tools to help you gain new members.
BACK TO THE RACE: TALKING ABOUT REJUVENATION
10:20-11:00 | room Wiltz-Vianden
Do we need an acceptance committee and complicated admission procedures for new members? Explore new possibilities that will make our organization a trend-setting one, so that we can attract young members today who can perpetuate Kiwanis tomorrow.
MEET THE CANDIDATES
11:00-12:00 | room Wiltz-Vianden
Attend the introductory presentations of the candidates to key positions in KI-E and KI, ask them questions and exchange points of view with them.
WALKING FREE LUNCH

HOUSE OF DELEGATES
14:00-17:00 | room Europe A
Get informed about the KI-E business and activities. KI-E President Josy Glatigny will chair the session, welcome and greet international guests. Delegates from clubs across Europe will be presented with amendments to the KI-E Bylaws to bring them into line with Luxembourg’s recently enacted A.s.b.l. (non-profit organisations) regulations, as well as updated Policies, Procedures and Guidelines (PP&Gs). They will also elect a new KI-E vice president and European candidates for KI Trustee positions. The business session will end with the presentation of the venue of the 2025 European convention.
The House of Delegates on Sunday, 19 May 2024, will be streamed live online to also allow participants to follow the proceedings remotely. The current KI-E Bylaws only allow in-person voting and is limited to certified delegates who will be contacted personally after being certified as a voting delegate. Watch kiwanis.eu for streaming information.

If you’re into history, you might remember that an important chapter of European history was written here as it was indeed on “Princesse Marie-Astrid” that the famous Schengen agreements were signed in 1985 and 1990.
